How to
Alcide contains fruits and vegetables, which are typical of the mediterranean production. It works with no charge, it is made out of traditional materials, which make it strong and durable, it is completely handmade, custom fitted and every piece is absolutely unique.

Structure
It is composed by 4 pots. Each pot contains different kind of vegetable. We divided vegetable for dimension and shape, in order to find 4 sizes.

System
If we want to keep our fruits fresh we have to control the speed of breathing to let them breath constantly in order to mantain their organoleptic properties.
Speed breathing control depends on different physical quantities, which can be changed by using a simple physical principle: the thermal convection.

Good results could be obtained by positioning the product where the weather conditions are dry and warm. ​
Temperature decreases up to 10 or 15 °C.​
In winter, you are suggested to place the product near the domestic heat sources. In sunny days, Alcide can be placed outside.​

Using
Clever using is essential to mantain the qualities of the product. Each pot is supposed to be filled with different foods, depending on the pot size.

​Warm is the best!
Alcide works much better when the environment temperature is warm and possibly dry. Moreover it is designed to be placed both inside and outside your house, not necessarely in the kitchen, but wherever you prefer.
Water refill
Alcide requires a water refill about once a month. Use the measuring cup to refill the gap of each vase.

Expand clay refill
Expandand clay is a non-perishable material and non-toxic material. You can change it once per year, if you want....
How to clean pots?
Mix 3 Lt of water, 4 spoons of white vinegar, a bit of washing up liquid.
Use a shred to clean. You can do it whenever you want. Once a month you’ll have to polish the pots, so add 3 spoons of beeswax to the mixture. If the spot lasts, wrinkle it with castile soap and baking soda and clean it with a humid sponge. Then rinse the pot with a wet rag and polish it.
